health and safety

Safety is our top priority when it comes to taking care of our campers.

At all times during Camp Wingmann programs, one nurse is on call and at camp at all times. The Wingmann first aid area is equipped with both private rooms and examination rooms and is fully stocked with all necessary medications, first aid supplies, and automatic external defibrillators. If a camper has a prescribed medication, our volunteer nurses for Camp Wingmann programs will dispense medication as prescribed. Our camp staff is trained each summer using Safeguarding God's Children, and our written policies and procedures to help ensure the safety our campers.

Our kitchen staff is fully equipped to handle any allergy on camp. We have extensive experience with tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, gluten intolerance, soy allergies, and many more. Our kitchen staff takes special care to accomodate every camper.

We value and cherish each and every camper at Camp Wingmann and are very proud of the lengths we take to keep them safe throughout the summer.

We follow a very strict and highly regulated system that ensures the safety and care for our most precious assets - our Campers.
